Mudfest 2002 Pictures

This is a quick collection of Thumbnailed shots from my camera that day.  I'll format them into the race report next week.  Click on the image to enlarge - Enjoy!

The mighty group, pre-race.  L to R: Joe Hellenbrand, Trevor Shand, Doug Johnston, Katie Hobson, Stephen Dragoni, Eric Weiss, Scott Rosen, Michael Parente, Some twit with goofy ears, Dave Decker, Lynn Kapusta, Lynn's friend Cheryl, and some pirate guy looking tough in the background.

Lynn Kapusta gets ready for battle, while Dave Krieger checks his watch.  The women in front hide their eyes in fear, while the guy in purple does a quick body-fat check.

Ready, set, wait!  The line to enter the woods, one at a time.

This was one of the easier sections early on - nice and wide!

Why is everyone on the left here?  I ran right, and got a neat shot of the group.

First water crossing.  Note the people taking their time, gently.

Notice that I've had enough time to bound through the water, catch up, take a picture of the SAME people in line, and then pass them all through the conveniently placed poison ivy to the right.

Pennsylvania - Where old boots go to die.

Headed up the longest, steepest climb of the day.

This was another water crossing - I didn't fall here.
