Caesar Rodney - 3 Days after finding out about my bad thyroid, I ran the fastest 1/2 Marathon I'd run in 3 years.
Great Valley Marathon - To get ready for the Pittsburgh Marathon, Eric and I decided that a training marathon was a good plan(!)
Pittsburgh Marathon - 2 weeks recovery + 26.2 Miles + 83 Degrees = Another 'Character Builder' of a day.
Columbia Triathlon - Rain, Cold, Wind, Fear, and seeing what can really happen when I finally shut up and go.
Chesapeake Bay Swim - After 4 years of never knowing what was waiting beyond my ability...I discover the other side of a DNF.
Tupper Lake - Another year, another summer gathering, another day in The Duel (tm), and a Dog.
Ironman USA 2000 - Race One of the 2-IMs-in-28-Days, "Ironman Double" that Eric Weiss and I attempted.
Ironman Canada 2000 - Race Two of the "Ironman Double." We thought it might be too much...and it was.
New York City Marathon - 26.2 Miles through the heart of Marathon History in the US, with 29,000 kindred spirits.
Philadelphia Marathon - 26.2 Miles, 14 days after NYC. On a cold day, help from an old friend leads to a new PR.
